In September 1397, a contract was signed between the technical and engineering company "Tadbir Pouyan Asr" and the municipality of Tehran Region 2 with the subject of the contract "Pavement operations in the northern part of Tehran Region 2".

Construction and reconstruction of sidewalks in order to solve the problem of pedestrian crossing and also to adapt the sidewalks to facilitate the movement of the disabled and the blind; There were important points that were taken into consideration.

The area of ​​Tehran Region 2 includes districts 1, 7, 8 and 9 and the sidewalks of streets such as Isargaran District 9, Fatehan District 9, Zarafshan District 7, Sanat Square District 7 and Municipality Boulevards District 1, Sadaf District 1, Taherkhani District Sahra District 8 Also, the sidewalk around Kaj Square, District 1, etc., along with the park passages in the northern areas of District 2, ie, Districts 1, 7, 8 and 9, were among the items that were put on the agenda for construction and reconstruction.

Although one of the busiest streets in the capital is located in District 2 of Tehran called "Shahrdari" Street in Saadat Abad, Sarv Boulevard; The sidewalk was not suitable and the need for repair, reconstruction and construction of a new sidewalk in this area was felt for a long time.

For this purpose, the agenda was announced by the technical and civil deputy of Tehran Municipality, District 2, to carry out demolition and reconstruction of the sidewalk of "Shahrdari" Boulevard; However, due to the high pedestrian traffic on this sidewalk, its demolition and reconstruction operations were faced with the problem of human traffic.

Given the existence of such a problem and to prevent the creation of a roadblock and deprive the citizens of this area of ​​the city of Tehran; The time of execution of the demolition operation was considered step by step and with a precise schedule by the technical and engineering company "Tadbir Pouyan Asr" so that the demolition, principles and reconstruction can be done accurately.

Whereas the minimum barrier was to be created for pedestrians during demolition and reconstruction operations; For the proper passage of pedestrians, deflecting safety signs were considered so that pedestrians could easily enter the alternative route.

Due to high traffic during the day, demolition operations were carried out at night and reconstruction and construction operations were carried out during the day, and due to such issues, this operation lasted for a month.

During the same period, about 400 meters, the length of the sidewalk in a width of 3 meters was destroyed and rebuilt, in which part was allocated to the disabled ramp and part to the blind lane.

It is worth mentioning that in this project, 1200 square meters of surface was demolished and rebuilt. Meanwhile, the sidewalk infrastructure was made of 300 carat concrete with an area of ​​120 cubic meters, and the sidewalk pavement was made with concrete flooring and cement-sand mortar and the implementation of a lot of tape, so that this project could be demolished and rebuilt in the best possible way.
